Investigator-Initiated Trials

An Investigator-Initiated Trial (IIT) is an unsolicited pre-clinical or clinical study, interventional or observational, for which an investigator independently has submitted a proposal. Oncopeptides may provide support of different kind if a proposal is approved such as drug supply, expert advice and funding of expenses associated with the conduct of the study, in accordance with local fair market value.

Oncopeptides supports IITs as part of scientific interaction aiming to improve patient care and the practice of medicine. IITs are independently planned by Investigators so that the independence of hypothesis, design, operational execution, and reporting of IITs is guaranteed. The investigator, or the institution the investigator is associated with, will serve as the study sponsor. The overall objective of the Company´s IIT program is to advance medical and scientific knowledge related to our products or therapeutic areas.
